# 5.4. Beta Phase: Prototype In the development process, it was important to us to get feedback from real users early. For that reason, it was an early goal to get a prototype up and running, so that beta tests with external users could be conducted. This prototype was capable of spotting arbitrage opportunities on three exchanges (Kraken, Bitfinex and GDAX), and capitalizing on them by simultaneously buying on one exchange and selling on another one.
